Our commitments
- Comply with environmental law, including the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 (NSW) and its equivalents where we work.
- Minimise the chemicals, water and fluid used to clean and fill a system.
- Contain and collect flush water and spent fluids, and dispose of them through licensed waste contractors with records kept.
- Carry spill prevention and response equipment on every site where fluids are handled.
- Use returnable containers and recover fluids for reuse where it is safe and approved.
- Plan logistics to reduce vehicle movements and emissions.
- Structure our management system to align with ISO 14001.
The Director is accountable for this policy. Supervisors are responsible for environmental controls on site.
This policy applies to all SI Critical Systems employees, contractors and subcontractors. It is reviewed annually, and after any significant incident or change.
